Reed Richards Blames himself for the things appearance and, tried many time to change him back to a human but all attempts have failed. After an encounter with the Grey Gargoyle (villain), the Thing seemed to have gained the ability to shift between his human and rock forms at will. That ability has since been lost after it was revealed that he spawned clones in an alternate reality every time he changed. | |
