| Nerd Fact: Real name Anung Un Rama (demon of apocalypse). Brought to earth by the Nazi's as a weapon to win the war. But found by the allies and given to the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense (BPRD) to be rasied. Hellboy is an agent of the BPRD, fighting the the supernatural and the occult. If he lets his horns grow, they become long and he has a golden fiery crown on top of his head. He files his horns down. Not to look normal but to fit through doors. Uses a large gun as his long range weapon. One of his arms is made of rock and, is supposed to be a key to hell, but is used to clobber things. Their is a prophecy that one day he will open the gates of hell. He also can't die. Can be hurt or injured but can't die for some reason. He is a character from a publisher know as Dark Horse comics. Which is a publisher just behind marvel and DC comics. Besides Hell Boy, Dark Horse has the rights to adapt many movies to comics such as, Aliens, Indiana Jones, Predator, RoboCop, Star Wars, The Terminator, Planet of the Apes and more. |
