| A pixal artist reproduction of the world famous Mona Lisa; Well known for her mysterious smile. Mona Lisa's real name was Lisa Gheradini and her portrait was painted during the Italian Renaissance sometime between 1503 and 1506. This painting went through several changes during the time Leonardo da Vinci worked on it. Technological ultra-high resolution scanning has revealed that the size of her face had been reworked along with the direction of her gaze. At one time she had even been painted with hairpins and a pearl adorned headress before da Vinci scrubbed it clean and repainted over. |
