Such as the Coastal Brown Bear, the Grizzly Bear, and the largest being the Kodiak Bear which is comparable in size to a Polar Bear. A polar bear may be slightly taller on average, but a Kodiak is heavier. So what defines large? The largest Kodiak ever found was 14 feet tall and weighed 2500 pounds.
